this dude had a lot of design choices i really liked; the almond eyes, the flattened nose and the more vampire king look to him was really cool. That and i find facial scarification fascinating. I did this painting from memory so he’s not 100% accurate to what he looked like in the film. but nevertheless this was fun to paint.

Yes he is so cool. I loved the way he acted as well. Like a orc Bond villain.

exactly! it was cool to have a villain before smaug gets on the scene. He also looked more interesting than the other peater jackson orcs.
